Afton Mountain Run - June 21, 10:00am

What: Afton Mountain Run. Starting at the top of Afton Mountain near Waynesboro, VA and covering abrupt terrain changes, mountain roads, great curves, and wind it out straights.

When: June 21, 2008 at 10:00am. Leaving the top of the mountain at 11:00am. Drive should be about 1.5 to 2 hours (Your heart can't take more than that)

Where: Meeting at the gas station at Rt 250 and Blue Ridge Parkway between Waynesboro and Charlottesville, VA. Take Exit 99 on I-64. Turn right at the exit (towards Charlottesville) and then an immediate right into the rather ragged gas station on your right.

Lunch: Blue Ridge Pig BBQ. At the end of the drive. Great BBQ in the scenic Blue Ridge mountains of VA
