here's a How To from the Modifry guy. this is really the only safe way to do it. you have to be VERY careful with standards.

Where is the advantage in doing such a thing? Seems to me it would just make your car easier to steal.

Kr, I know you didn't ask for opinions, but...
You may not have given this much consideration. You should really think long and hard about putting a remote start on a car w/ a standard tranny. You wouldn't really want to park a manual car in neutral would you? |

Come on, you could turn your garage into a sun room.

I can do it, any shop who installs them can do it, Its not bad at all. I hate working for places like Best Buy and Circuit City due to the fact "EVERYONE TALKS SHYT" lol...I tell them "It all depends on the installer" I would talk to some people who are into car audio and find someone with high standards and who takes pride in the work they do, not so much for the company they work for but for them selfs. I do every install as if the best installers in the world might one day get in this car tear it apart and see my work, with my name going out behind it....Not Best Buy or Circuit City.....MY NAME
Every place I've worked they do not "Want" to do remote starters on sticks. They can, and I have on my own cars. And they do make modules for them. But they just figure its too much problems to do it, too much of a risk. They still make money if they do them or not, not a big loss to them. But really, adding a alarm remote start with keyless and trunk pop also "Motion sensor" maybe window roll up kit too...Is nothing major.
