i am looking for s2000 owners in and around the panama city area that i could meet up with trying to get a small club together. would love to have othere s2k owners in it.

Do you mean Panama City, Florida or Panama City, Panama? I've been to both...people in LA (lower Alabama) are fairly close to the panhandle and there are some people there.
