stuck in the middle
im trying to decide between an 06 s2k or an 06 g35...im kinda stuck in the middle of which car i want to settle on. the s2k only has 2 seats and although i love that i just dont know if thats practical in every day life but the g35 is big and heavy.
the things im really looking at are: reliability/longevity (wont break down, lasts a long time, etc) performance (speed and ride) attention (car mods, rareity, etc) you guys can list pros and cons for each car (even though this is an s2k site lol) i just want to hear different opinions so i can hopefully make the right choice...even though i really dont think theres a wrong one |

I got an 05 a month and 4 days ago and i love it. I specifically looked for an 05 because I think its the best year for a couple of reasons. First off, 05's dont have traction control. Second, No Drive by wire meaning you dont have to fully lift off your foot from the gas then flat foot it. You just gun it. Although DBW's are kinda more responsive some people say. Third, Consumer reports says its the year with the least issues. And finally, 04's have a TSB that second gear pops out of second at times.
05 FTW.

There is a button to disable the traction control. You just need to be smarter then the button. And what in the name of all that's holy are you talking about lift foot nonsense?

I dunno, for me it was a really easy choice to go for the AP2. Seems like there were many improvements, exspecially in the engine, which made for more usable power in city driving.

fitting in my budget is #1 priority, this is not a daily driver for me, just a summer car to compliment my truck all things being equal (decent care from the previous owner, etc.) which is a better buy...AP1 with lower milage (30k) or AP2 with higher milage (60k+) ??? |
