heck, i'd almost ponder a straight up trade for a really low milage '91 Elan. I knew i should've bought that car when they couldn't give it away. Really was ahead of it's time.
Alas, front drive doesn't equal Lotus.
still shoulda bought it.

The Elan was an awesome car. Yes FWD is frowned apon but it probably still is the best handling FWD car of all time. The Isuzu powerplant was bullet proof and the interior was comfortable and well built.

The Elise is a great sports car but the Elan was better suited for touring.

I am always watching for one to be traded in so I can snatch it for a daily driver.
