S2000 Vortech Superchager group buy

I have a local shop in the area willing to sell brand new vortech kits cheep if we get a group buy going. I need atleast four people for this to go through. The kits are all new polished they have both the 00-03 and the 04-05 kits in stock they are willing to sell these kits at $4000.00 shipped. Do you need to midify the clutch upon installing a SC? S2000's clutches suck from factory (at least it does on mine-2003).

I have a buddy with a 04 supercharged S2k and he has the stock clutch it had held up so far and he has had it on about 5-6 months

3,000 miles on my clutch with a SC and no problems. The clutch can hold the extra torque (it's not that much extra torque of course) from regular driving and shifting. If, however, you are used to doing 7000rpm standing launches by side-stepping the clutch pedal then... well I don't need to finish that thought, do I?

I agree totally if you are planning on putting slicks on the car, or your doing some major high RPM launches you could see your clutch going pretty fast but if you are just playing around driving, then you should be fine
