WTT: 98 Acura Integra Type R usdm for S2k all day!

I want to trade my very rare, clean titled Integra Type R for any S2k I can get my hands on as long as it has a clean title ^_^ I miss my old one. Mods:

Rebuilt motor with 5-6K on it.
Ferrea built Valve train, valves, springs, rockers.

AEM short ram intake, 70mm blox throttle body, ported skunk2 intake manifold to match, skunk2 composite fuel rail, ngk spark plugs and wires, ob1p28 dyno tuned chipped ECU!!! Tanabe exhaust, lowered on tokico springs, body and interior clean. Interior 10 of 10. Only problem with body is front ITR lip has a small but repairble crack. New clutch and rebuilt tranny!!!

VTEC 5500, Redline 9014.
The motor was rebuilt because it sat for 13 months while in Iraq.

Actually it is a good question.

This car is not a Honda if it is USDM. Honda Integra's are JDM and right hand drive. So this is a not "really" a Honda Integra Type R. It is an Acura Integra Type R.

It even says Acura on the seats on one of his pictures... (see below) Putting an "H" on an "A" is called posing.

its not posing if acura is made by honda, so therefore, by him putting on the "H" on his acura type r is alright.. Im sure there are some s2k peeps that put Type S on theirs, even though thats the CR of Japan. Or what about people that put the "H" on their NSX's. Does not matter what you put on there, its still the same car. As long as you dont put and "H" on a mustang

I giggle at people that put funny emblems on our cars. Anyways what broke on the motor was it due to the tune you have or is that a high mileage car that was beat on? I dont know anyone who rebuilds a motor because it sat for 13 months. What is the mileage I dont think you ever listed it.

Incorrect. It is not the same. Why don't you go and buy a Mini Cooper Type S, and put a BMW logo on it. BMW owns Mini, so its the same thing right!? No. It is called, if you want to buy one, buy one. It is still posing.

Definition: Poser - 1. one who pretends to be someone / something he / it is not.

It is not a Honda Integra, those are JDM and made in JAPAN. He does not have a Honda Integra no matter who makes the car. The car is called whatever is listed on the title.

On a side note, I can tell you that nobody would open up and say that they have a "Type S" sticker on their S2000 if it is USDM. Because they would be called out and called a poser.

ALSO - A Type S is not the same as a CR. The Type-S includes soft-top instead of the aluminum hardtop as well as a new rear wing diffuser. It also has firmer suspension, chassis rigidity. So no, they are different.

ALSO - Just to give you Mikes Lesson of the Day, there is also a Type V S2000. Is that the same you ask? No. It has what is called VGR or Variable Gear Ratio. The car adapts the steering in relation to the speed and a specific suspension with special dampers, anti-roll bars and a limited slip differential.

Maybe you should go out and buy a Type V sticker and put it on your "S". Its the same right??

Type S = Japan
CR = US
GT = Europe

I actually own an S2000 Type R (I eat rice).

The Chinese knock-off "H" just doesn't shout Japanese Domestic Market to me either. (OPs might be real, but the majority aren't).

Actually I didnt put the honda badges on the car. The prev. owner did, as for the acura/honda thing. You can find models with this head lights with honda badges made by honda in euro land, some with left hand or right hand drive. Cause only acura excisted in the US until 2005 when japan added inifiniti, lexus, and acura to there list by making the brand names national instead of just having about 20+ cars under one brand. As for out growing, the Type r is described by some as a completely different car than its other brothers of the integra line. Just as the C/R has a stiffer and better chasis for autocross and time attack, etc. So does the Type R. I however, do not want a type R, as I do not like front wheel drive. I want another S2000, so thats why I decided to post here cause maybe there is some honda fan boy out there who wants his FF drive back and RWD isnt just for him. Idk, im an S2K guy, not a honda guy. Either way, I wanna sell the car or trade as along as it helps me get an S2k, all day!

And yes she is dirty but I dont get time to clean her due to military.

Nah, my buddy got back from Iraq and rebuilt it so he was sure it make the drive from Fort Knox NC to Fort Lewis WA. It had 119k on car when he rebuilt it, now it has like 125K.
