For a good tranny you'll be lucky to find one under $1000.

my car is ap1, but im running an ap2 tranny, i thought my ap1 was going bad but it was just my stupid racing clutch...being stupid, i still have the ap1, but the synchros are sh!tty on the ap2. there is a custom race car manufacturer in RED OAK, TX. he buys all the engines and trans from totalled, low mileage s2k's. he sold me the ap2 tranny for 800, check it.

I have an ap1 i could do for $400 + shipping from 31407. I know you're looking for an ap2, but maybe this can help. it has 45k miles on it. I blew my engine, and I bought an entire drivetrain, but I only used the engine.
