Betraying my S. WTB: MR2 MK1

looking for this Japanese pocket rocket. MY 86-89. Located in WA state.

Clean and lower mileage prefered.

lower mileage on a MK1 ya right. I would actually like one of these for a daily driver.

after driving one of these and goin back to drive the S, the S feels so loose and soft. i would use the S for DD and MK1 for weekends

I paid good money for the S. The MK1 is just a cheap run around car.

i seen some that has 280K mileage on them so 120K -150k is considered low mileage for these

I used to have an 87 mr2, garbage compared to the S. It was slooooow!Maybe the one you tested was restored or something, because the S is much tighter in handling and shifting. I really like the 94-95 mr2's tho.

I also had an 87 crx w/polished head, I would race my dad in the mr2, i would have 2-3 car lengths ahead of him. It was funny because the crx was pretty slow too.

I owned 2 in my lifetime one a NA 4age & the other 2 4agze. Also use to own a 91MR2 3sgte. The older ones handle a lot better. I recommend getting a 91+ NA if you're looking for just a DD. It has a better updated & nice interior.
