I got an 2005 Honda S2k with 22k miles and i was thinking of selling it to get a 2005 Nissan 350z with equal mileage. I need personal oppinions on reliability, resell value and which one looks better cause i like both.

Plenty of posts on jus' those two combatants fc. Rather than everybody repeatin' 'emselves (though, some of us do jus' that more than others) take the time to go through some of the past posts.

I've not driven a 350z. It was something I looked at, but the convertible top on the roadster just really killed the lines of the fastback.
Here's my advice. Drive the car. See if maybe there's a rental place out by you, or a dealership that will let you keep it for a day. You should be the one making the decision, not a forum. An s2k forum is going to say keep the s2k, and a nissan z forum will say trade. Which car do you like best? Because no matter how you slice it, it will be your car. |

Z has more power and maybe a touch faster on the straights, but put it on twisties or a race track, and because of its porkiness, I'll run circles around it.

^what vezna said.
BUT-- you've got to put yourself behind the wheel, and just like controller said... not just for a few minutes. hell, a haywagon is nice on a 5 minute roadtest. spend some seat time in the nissan so you can make a good decision. (what do you guys think, keepin the S ? ya, me too) |

1st. Shouldn't this be in off topic?
2nd. Yeah keep the S definately. That's just because I think 350's are ugly. |

i recently got my s2k and before i got it i had also considered and driven a GTO and 350Z . i like the gto way more then the Z, thou the z is still a good car and if i had found a good price on one i prob would have gotten one. i havnt drivin a stock s2k cuz the one i got is turbo, but i liked the s2k more than the Z. but if you do decide to get the Z make sure you get one with leather seats, cloth looks so cheap. also hope u dont use the trunk much cuz the z aint got one. good luck with ur decision

I personally think the z are a little ugly. All of the road tests I've seen on video between the two the Honda comes out on top in every video. Not just about power, the z is more powerfull but I beleive that the s gives you a more character and personality, .............after all it is a Honda .....meep meep.
