Just thought I would introduce myself. Bought my S2000 as a graduation present for myself in '04. I will post pictures soon. My car is a bit of a garage baby, only comes out on the weekends, just rolled over to 19000 miles.

I'm not sure if it was any of you but about 2 weeks ago I saw a big group of S2's at a gas station in my town (in riverside county), I thought it would be fun to join a group of fellow owners.

I am hoping that joining the club will give me an excuse to get out and drive more. I have a 2 year old so it is hard to get out as much as I want to.

Java- Yeah I bought it new in '04, had 2.8 miles on it. The story goes that I worked my butt of in college saved a ton of $ for a down payment on a house because I figured boyfriend of 9 years and I would be getting married. We had a talk, decided not to get married for another 4 years while he went through grad school, the lease was up on my civic si, so I took the $ and bought myself a toy. 2 months later he proposed, apparently he was going to do it the whole time just didn't want me to know. I think he just wanted the car too.

HAHA I said yes. Married for 4 years and have a 2 year old. He always threatens that if we get divorced he will take the car in the settlement.

Hiya ali, and welcome! Keeping the car after having a baby is pretty impressive - does the little one get a car seat or have to ride in daddy's vehicle until later?
