My Swirl Mark Free New Baby

Hello this is my first post as I've been lurking and hopefully I can learn alot from here. I live in OC and wanted to know if there are any local meets or gatherings? I waited to have my car detailed today to finally post it. Its all stock but I may have some plans for it... Detailer provided me the pictures as I forgot my camera at work.

Car was purchased brand new with dealer installed swirls.

Photographing the swirls was hard on this color even with the halogens, but it had moderate swirls, marring, scratches etc.

Spiderwebs and swirls

Another angle to showcase the swirls

Passenger Fender (left side) Polished and Hood (right side) untouched

Passenger Fender Polished to Perfection

Sun was going down so I didn't get great pics

Wiped the last of the wax off and let her go

Congrats on the new car, very nice. So what wax did you use to get rid of the swirls? Good job!

Just one more question........I see short sleeves and palm trees, so why is the top up? I think you can get a ticket for that here.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

I can't believe a dealer would let a brandy new S2000 off the lot with those swirls. Excellent job fella ! Great color too.

I've only seen one S that color in my area.

Enjoy it !!!

Stay away from car washes (even the "hand" ones). Looks beautiful without the swirls. Hey, looked beautiful with them. I've seen a great detailing handbook for S2000's that is online. I can't remember if it is on this site or one of the other S2000 sites.

i bought the Mr. Clean car wash, and it really works, the final rinse dries the car without spots or streaks...

Wax once a week!!?? You know that's pointless right? A good wax job should last about six months lol. But tis each his own.

My car has still got some light swirls on it. Purchased new but.............it came from the showroom floor where the local cleaner probably took a broom over it every night ready for the morning.

LBP goes really well with those wheels........drop it an inch or so and your

As for the question about more HP, there isnt much you can do except supercharger or turbo that will yield any substantial gains.

Yeah, maybe if you use the full Zaino process. Otherwise, good luck.
