Ventura County Drive and Meet!

Hey Dudes And Dudettes, I have been meeting up here and there with Ventura and L.A. county S2K owners. I have been to some weeknight meets but in the eyes of the Police we were there for street racing and gave me more Hassle than it was worth. So I suggest we set something up on Sat. or Sun. mornings and then do I cruze so the Police see that we are a Club not some Gangsta's looking to roll someone. What buggs me if you see a 57 Chevy(BLOWN) cruze down the street with a 60yr old Dude driving the Cop's give him the thumbs up, but if they see a S2000,Evo,Focus or STI and we are bound to do something to break the LAW! But enough of my speech let's get together and have some FUN. Any idea's of time's and date's?

Well with the recent rains I think that most of the roads we drive will be FULL of loose gravel. Not a good combo for mountain driving. If we get dryer weather soon than I'm up for a GOOD drive!

I might be up for a drive Chaz, where do you want to go? I have been working everyday the shop is open. but I will have Saturday the 14th off that is Valentines day. I am sure my wife will have something she wants to do that evening. but maybe in the morning?

that's a drag you got a ticket. I think that is a fix it ticket. where you can have a cop sign the back when you fix the problem and mail it in. should say on the ticket.

Hells, yeah...

I've invited a few people... here's the plan [google map]

Sat, Feb 21st, 9am, Meet at the Chart House restaurant.

9:30am, head out, going pch -> decker canyon -> mulholland -> stunt dr -> rancho pacifico (the most beautiful place... crests a mountain with 180 degrees of ocean on the horizon) -> back to chart house

Man I love this route. A few people outside of this group are coming, so it should be a good turnout. Who else can make it?

Why dont you do it on Sunday? You can start off and meet at the Super Car Sunday event at Mulholland and 101. grab some coffee and breakfast there while checking out all the rides and then head off on your cruise. You will more than likely get more people to go along from there since there are groups that go on cruises after the show.

Just my .02 but I think you will get a better turnout and even a few other cars to go along on the cruise.

I was looking at the photos that the pro photographer guy that takes pics in the horseshoe, and it looks like photos he takes on Saturday & Sunday usually get uploaded to Flickr on Monday.
