240sx with f20?

im thinking about swapping my motor into a 240sx instead of getting the car fixed or parted out... the motor didnt get damaged in the wreck...
any thoughts?
i know its possible and it should be fairly cheap since i already have an engine and tranny and ecu. jsut need to get the 240sx shell...

you won't.

That could potentially be badass! I love hybrid swaps.

If you are good at fabricating it would be nice. Integrate the digital dash, make new mounts for motor and tranny. It would be some work but would def. be a cool project. Are you trying to do something for high amounts of power?

low ball him and pick it up. Shave the bay and paint it. I think it would be clean. There will be some haters but it would be neat. I hope you have some extra cash.

It can be done and you would have something different that's for sure.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

if someone can swap a k20 into a mustang, you can swap an f20 into a 240.

This swap has been done before. I've seen it most prominently in AE86 Corollas. It would definitely earn respect though.

If you put an F20 into an antique car you will have a a 9000 rpm piece of at work in an old out of date suspension. I won't be 10% of an S2000. The only suggestion I was that made sense was to put it in a Lotus chassis.

Ya youre right it wont be 10% of the s2000 it would be much cooler than the s2000. Maybe if I got mugen to make some parts for the swap would it then be awesome?

I think that a fiberglass Ford T-bucket with the F20 and 4 sidedrafts would be sweet...

Swap it into a cheap beater Miata and blow everyone away with your sleeper.

Or an Elise if you can figure out how to turn the engine sideways.

No engine mods needed in a 2000lb car.

Actually in Tokyo Drift, they put a RB26DETT (skyline motor) into the mustang.

I'm not sure, but I think the Jan 2009 issue of super street they did a F20C Swap in a 93 convertible 240sx. Its nice looking. Body of a nissan, Soul of a Honda. That is what they put.

I think it would be sweet to do. All my friends say to put my s2k engine in my civic, which would be hell to do, cuz its FWD but it would be sweet.. lol..

Good luck with whatever you decide.
