Now, now, chaz. Those folks in Glendale are good people. And they dream of one day coming to America.

Crazy meet! It was HOT and SMOKEY, even going to PCH was just a little relief from the heat. Marrk had Mulholland reading 91 at 10;30. I'll put up some pics.

I was wondering about that, I was going to drive up there today to check it out but I guess I'll go for a run on Mulholland. Tommorrow I don't think I'll be driving with Football season I realized Sundays are getting crammed.

Hey chaz, Remember when the first time we drove and there was this road at the end of Stunt road where the road on the left was closed. I think it was Tuna canyon or something like that. it was a dirt road at the time and was closed but the supercharged S2k that we met up with there still went.

Wait...... i actually think this was after you left LOL.

Anyways if you have any clue about what road im talking about, continue reading.I went yesterday night with a friend and came across this road.

IT IS THE MOST GODLIKE ROAD EVER CREATED BY HUMANS. wow. i was so impressed after.

just wanted to let you know.

I went up there this weekend, and seeing the devastation up close was just too depressing.

The road they just repaved and which was all dirt and getting regraded for the last few months is Saddle Peak Road. It eventually meets up and ends at Tuna Canyon which you can either take to Topanga Canyon (turn left) or take all the way out to PCH (turn right). So many exciting little roads in that area. Gotta be careful on Saddle Peak though. I came around a corner there on full tilt boogy one day and found myself squarely behind a smallish John Deere hauling a trailer of hay. Had to get on the binders pretty quick. Thankfully, it was an uphill so I had gravity on my side.

The hot weather seems to have broken a bit here so tomorrow sounds like a good day for a run up there.

I've been putting in gobs of billable hours in the last 4 weeks and I'm way overdue for a break. I'm taking the S out tomorrow and going *somewhere*. Haven't got a particular plan but it will likely include Mulholland. Coming up from the south so that means PCH to maybe Tuna or Las Flores up.

Chaz, what routes do you like best (realizing of course you are probably heading south instead of north)?

The El Camino shopping center Sunday car meet is no more. The management company hired some goons because of parking problems. The stores are unhappy, since they lost a lot of Sunday business. The meet may go the Gelsons' parking lot in Northridge.
