just did my brakes

I just did my own brake job on on my S last weekend. Everything went smooth the only problem was replacing the rear calipers.

The rear caliper piston have to be twisted back into th caliper in order for it to fit over the new pads.

What a pain in the ass that was I had to have my brother come over just to hold the damn thing in place while I twisted it! So if you're planning on doing your own brakes be perpared for that.

Just thought I would let you guys in on that.

Probably not tellin' you anything, but be prepared for the possible brake fluid overflow at the master if some well-meanin' mech topped it up for you somewhere back down the line. Squashin' the piston/s back with a full master can make for a real paint-removin' mess back up under the hood.
Be well.

yeah your not supposed to top off brake fluid only after a bleeding or something....if your brake fluid level is low, you either have a leak or need pads

I used a VERY large screw driver to twist them back in. Of course that was after an hour of trying EVERYTHING in my garage I could think of to PUSH them back in. Silly me. It's amazing how easy things were after I opened the $50 Helm's manual I bought and decided to read it.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
