Nice. I am looking into a BBK as well. I need to finish purchasing wheels that will fit over a BBK.

Fellas! I need your help.

The caliper and the rotor fited perfect onto the car but the caliper is too big for my current 17 ins wheel offset. It needs another inch from the spoke of the wheel to clear the caliper. So I installed the rear wheel and it cleared the caliper about an eight of an inch, accept for the offset and the tire is sticking out beyond the fender. So now I have to hit tirerack.com for some info.

Let me see your recomemdations.

Thanks fellas.

Thought of that but that would be an inch spacer and the tire will be an in out of the fender.

Bolt on?

I installed the Rotora Big Brake Kit on my AP2 S2000. I started Saturday and finished Sunday.

I have WORK Emotion KAI on 18"x7.5 with and offset of +42 on the front.
1. You have to cut part of the dust covre or splash guar with the dremel.
2. At least with my wheels I had to put two 3mm = 6mm spacers because the wheel touched the caliper when it rotates.
3. Because I put the spacers I needed to install longer wheel bolts M12x1.5.

The difficult part here is to take the hub out to change the wheel bolts.

Good luck to everybody.

That is awesome information. Thank you. Have you lower your car & how much clearance does the tire has between the fender? And how is the brake?

The suspension on my car is completly stock. The brakes are awesome. The bolts I got them on a local Auto Parts. Again I don't know if you have to do all this with a 17" wheel. Rotora says that if you install a 17" wheel with an offset of +43 it should work just fine, but with the 18" that is what happens.

What is the off set of the OEM 17's? Does anyone know?

Nevermind, I found it:
Front:
17" x 7.0", +55 offset, 215 tire
Rear:
17" x 8.5", +65 offset, 245 tire

If that is the case, these brakes should fit under OEM wheels and tires.

It is supposed to be the bigger the offset the less space you got for big brakes. Correct me if I'm wrong. I also need help because I installed as I said earlier the Work Emotion KAi in 18"x7.5 +42 with 215/40R18 on the front and 18"x8.5 +48 with245/35R18 on the rear but the problem that I have is that the tire touches the rear fender on the outside whenever the car bounces on the road and now that I installed the spacers it does the same on the front. Help Please.

Hi legal2.2. The wheel offset is reference to how far the inner surface of the wheel hub is offset away (outward) from the centerline of the wheel in milimeter or mm. That's why honda cars wheel always bulge outward unlike the deep dish wheel of Nissan or BMW since there offet are +15 to +20.

So your front wheels are +42 and you have added 6mm more and that is equal to +48, and my friend that is how you cleared the calipers. But that is also how your front tires are 6mm closer to the fender. Does this make any sense?

So the ideal wheels for me and you (17" or 18") that would clear the caliper and not rubing the fender is +50 offset. Unless you have the coil over and raise the car higher. Or buy a same wheel with 7" width and run 205/40/18 tires, or just get the right offset

So, the stock AP2 wheels should fit just fine But I'm not going back there :P

Front:
17" x 7.0", +55 offset, 215 tire
Rear:
17" x 8.5", +65 offset, 245 tire

Thanks marlins for the AP2 offset info

Are you 100% sure of this information? Can anyone tell me if the OEM 17" s2000 AP2 wheel fit with the big brake kit?

It depends on th BBK. I have talked with webestore about the Wilwood kit and it will fit undeer the OEM 17's if you go with the 12" kit. The 13" kit will need a spacer. Since my race wheels will be OEM 17's, I need the 12" kit even though my street wheels will be 18".

Legal2.2, I think you have to borrow some wheels to find out. At least your BBk is already installed and ready for testing. Here is a bummer; Jim at tirerack email me this morning that they don't have any thing that would clear the BBK that they are selling at this moment. I think I have to go to my local tuner shop for this type of thing. I'm sure that they have done it many times. Good luck legal2.2 and let me know if the AP2 wheels fit.

I don't have any local OEM wheels but I talked to a guy where I bought the wheels and they told me that I need to put +48 on the front in order to eliminate the spacers.
