suspension?

Ive heard it is very very touchy to move or swap out the suspension on the car. It is said very high end suspension is needed so that you dont mess up the balance and actually make it worse.

There are many different suspension sets out there, some better than others. Some people swap it out to be able to adjust the height, others for better cornering and such. Just swapping suspensions to swap suspensions doesn't make a lot of sense since the S' is so good to start with. Some would like less oversteer and change the sway bars accordingly, others would like less understeer and do the change to make that happen. It all depends on what you are trying to do. The stock suspension is very good and there is nothing wrong with it.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

I godda second what Go said Com. It's such a sweet, well-balanced unit that improvin' it, at least in the direction where it would better suit your style of drivin', isn't an easy task.
Not so much a matter of expensive bein' the only way to go as much as a havin' a well researched n' thought out plan n' a real commitment. Some of the folks on site have been pretty happy with some of the not-quite-so-expensive suspension components.'Thing of it is, you've godda have a clear idea of what you're settin' out to accomplish.
N' then hunker down n' brace yourself for a period of time while you're sortin' it out, "seasonin'-to-taste" so-to-speak. Gettin' it to where you wannitt can happen early on in the process. Sometimes. But not too often.
While you're sortin' it out n' it ain't as good as it was, if you ain't totally committed to seein' it through n' gettin' it right . . it'll have you wonderin' why you ever started screwin' with it in the first place.
One thing that you've got in your favor is that alodda these suspension outfits that are already set up for Stewie won't get you too far off course.
However you choose to fly, good luck n' keep us posted.
Be well.

The stock suspension will take you right to the edge of what a very good street tire is able to keep up with, the only reason to change it is if you go to a slick race compound tire."performance wise"
