Dupli Color Caliper Paint

Anyone used Duplicolor Caliper Paint on any of their cars? I'm thinking red calipers for mine. I'm most curious about its ability to hold up to high heat caused by autocross or HPDE's. Thanks.

It's specifically made for that in that it's a hi-temp paint BJ. My guess is that the folks at Duplicolor've been doin' this long enough where they wpuldn't be sellin' it for calipers if it wasn't capable of puttin' up with the heat incurred while the caliper's doin' what it supposed to do.
I'd thought about it myself, but, as the calipers do get heated up, the release of that heat is important. A coating of paint will only impede that heat release. (Okay, okay . . so I jus' don't wanna. After all, Ferrari paint's theirs, don't they?)
Be well.

I personally would rather pay the $45 or so and go have them powdercoated. IMO. I've used Hi-temp paint on some of my other cars and it does tend to wear off over time.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

G2 - producer and distributor of the G2 BRAKE Caliper Paint System Set and other high quality carstyling and performance products. - looks like good stuff. Much higher max-temperature than the DuplicColor. I think I'll give that a try.

I have the G2, but burned it tracking the car. You won't have a problem on the streets with it.

Good info guys! Thanks. For street and autocross use G2. For track days go for powder coat.

The only time I have burned my G2 at the track is hen I didn't have enough pad in the caliper. All the other times I haven't had a problem.
