Michelin Tires

Anybody using Michelin Pilot PS tires? What do you think of them?

Michelin Pilot PS

Got tired of waiting for a reply... I installed a set! They seem to be much better than the RE050's so far. Only time will tell.

Not bad tires. I probably wouldn't buy them myself, but I know a few owners that are very satisfied with them.

Michelin's are pretty good, but I think a little overpriced. I've used BF Goodrich's now twice and feel the are very good tires for the S. My understanding from the tire guys is they are owned by Michelin and the construction of the tire is very similar, but the tire is much cheaper.

At the end of the day it is what you like and how much you are willing to pay for.
Ciao, Franz

Hi Whiplash,

I have got em after my 3rd set of SO2's and 43Kmile of regular driving. They in no way compare to the shoes that stewie was shod with. The Michies are a 400 treadware and the SO2;s are a 140 treadware. I will get alot more miles out of them but handling has taken a bit of a back seat when the tires are pushed.

Yep. Michelin's a good brand, but compared to tires of equal r' better performance that you can get for less denaro . . I've never found 'em to be the best deal.
N' that goes for the bike world too.
Be well.

I agree. I've always thought they were a good tire, but way overpriced versus a comparatively performance tire like the Goodyear F1 GS-D3.
