Will These Fit

i am wanting to buy some wheels and tires. the wheels are 18 inches X 7.5. tire size is 225/40-18 or 215/35-18. which will fit better if at all. i want 19 inche X 7.5 wheels but i do not think the 235/30-19 will fit. i also have option of 215/35-19. please what will fit my car. 2002 Honda S2000.

You also have to think about the off set of the wheels, not just the size of the wheel and the tire.

I have
225/40/18 in front
245/35/18 in rear

18x8 +51 off set in front
18x9 +63 off set in rear

No rubbing (except on the driver side front sharp drops) and the rears are tucked.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

19's are too big but you can run it. if you're going to get the same width wheel, i suggest you stagger the tire sizing

the 19x8.5 with 245/35-19 +35mm and the 275/30-19 +35mm work but stick out about 1/2" in front and 1" in rear. they have the room to fit more under the car just need 45mm in front and 60mm in the rear. They look great though.

your tires the car.stick out an inch in the rear? and you drive the car? I put the mustang wheels on my car and they stuck out an inch and I couldnt imagine actually driving around like that. Youre quarter panel and fender are gonna be one giant stone chip by the time youre done with it.

18x7.5 or 19x7.5

For 18x7.5 42et non staggered wheels you can stagger the tires
225/40-18 in front & 245/40-18 in rear

19x7.5 Non staggered wheel
225/35-19 in front & 245/35-19 in rear

Even thought the wheel itself is not staggered you can stagger the tires to a certain point before the tire begins to crown.

7.5 inch wheels tuck nicely on the S2
Example the wider the wheel the higher the offset needs to be to bring the wheel back under the fender.

JP are you sure a +42 with a 7 or 7.5 will fit the rear with a 245? I was looking at a set of rims with a +42 but they were only 7 inches wide I didnt get em cause I thought I needed more offset and I dont know how much tire I can fit on a 7" rim I want atleast a 245 but would prefer 255.

Positive, I work for a wheel manufacture and a lot of our current wheels only come in those sizes, not staggered. When a customer asks for that set up for a S2000 that is what we run. Or when they want to stagger on a non staggered wheel or car.
On a 7.0 or 7.5 there is a point of no return for the tire width before it starts to crown. Basicly the beads of the tire being wider than the wheel width causing the tread to bow up, which is bad.
When I dont have my 3 peice wheels on my car I run 17x7.0 et 40 all the way around 205/50-17 in front and 225/45-17 in rear.
Now if you want an even more staggered look with a 7.5 - for example most of our wheels come in many different offsets. One of our most popular wheels is offered 18x7.5 et 40 and 18x7.5 et 45. Run the 45et in front and the 40 et in rear.

Let me know if you have any more questions
