hydraulic suspension

Hey there, Im new here so ill say hi...hi!
I'm looking to buy a s2000 (european 2.0L version 240hp, 208nm torque) and among several issues I have, the main one is hydraulic suspension. I live in a country that has some bad roads. i'm talking holes where you dont expect them to be, now dont think there are holes everywhere not on main streets and so, but in smaller streets they are present, and due to heavy traffic i like to cut through these small streets just to get where I want in time. So the first question: is it possible? can I put hydraulics on my future s2000 without hurting anything. is there an alternative to this? i want it to gain height while I pass this "craters" in the street and then set it back to normal for normal drive. So thanks and hope my post isnt that long

Bebo, welcome aboard.
These small streets with the big potholes that you're describin' sound like grounds for slappin' plates on a Yamaha Quad.
I can't say whether or not there's some low-rider suspension for your Stewie, but I will say that thinkin' about incorporatin' those kind'a mechanicals in a sportscar that was built aroun' the less-is-best mantra is rather counter-productive.
You can strip down a Rolls n' put five point belts n' fat tires on it to make it "sportier", n' you can take Stewie n' line the dash with walnut burl, build a wet-bar into the trunk n' put coach lights on the sides to make it more "luxurious". Neither of those atrocities will ever be more than a butchered car that, prior to alteration, had pretty much a single purpose which it used to do well.
Save the side road excursions for somethin' more qualified to handle that kind of abuse. Save Stewie use for only the better roads, or, just don't go at a clip like you would if your were on your Bultaco.
(I understand that burros make great pets n' they have the added benefit of savin' you from havin' to load Stewie's trunk up with fertilizer when it's gardenin' time. 'Course, I guess you could always build a stake bed onto the top'a the trunk)

Gotten too up-close-n'-personal n' intent with problems myself on a few occasions. (Okay, okay. So maybe it was more'n a few.)
Glad to hear that you're keepin' Stewie chicane-worthy. Wouldn't want any Stewian to miss the opportunity to experience Stewie's cornerin' abilities. If there ain't laws against that, then there aught'a be. Don'cha think?

As easy as Stewie gets knocked out of alignment, I think it would be better to save him for the good roads, otherwise, you are going to be getting lots of wheel alignments or replacing worn out tires. Neither of which is cost effective and certainly not the way to enjoy a drive.

I am sure it could be done, but I don't think it will improve the ability of the car. My GUESS would be that it would hurt the corning abilities of the car.
