I'm sure that there're folks that'll sell you custom painted calipers but chances are they ain't gonna be anything other than your standard Stewie calipers painted by them.
Any high-temp paint should do'ya john, but I've actually seen caliper-specific paints available for jus' what you wannadoo. Aaaay, look where the female'a the species fingernails've gotten to, y'know? Be well. Java

I have used G2 paint over the years. You can find it on eBay.

Thats a good plan that was what i was thinking about. The only problem i ran in to was the rubber in the calipers. Didnt really know how that would hold up in the oven?

The stickers go right over the paint.

As far as ricer style goes, I dunno, in my opinion, that's big whale wings, underbody lights, and such. I like the way those stock calipers look with the paint and the stickers. I ordered the stickers, and am going with the black with silver stickers. I have drilled and slotted rotors (car came with them). I think it would look really clean with the black paint and silver stickers. thanks for the info.

VHT sells high temp paint too. I have a can of yellow from Autozone. Haven't had a chance to actually paint the calipers, but eventually.

Dunno. Yeah, maybe they do look kind'a Millenium Falconish in stock form, but once ya paint 'em . . . it's jus' 4 more, not-so-easy-ta-get-at items that got nooks n' crannies like a Thomas' English Muffin that're gonna be yammerin' to be cleaned.
But they do look neat. Be well. Java

Go - What's up with that rotor in your picture? It looks like it's painted or powdercoated, but I know it can't be. I've never seen that nice of a finish on a rotor before.

I painted my calipers recently and the hardest part was grinding them down to remove the casting marks. It's a nice project to do but i'd schedule a weekend in case you have to apply several coats.
I also did the decals, installed stainless brake lines and new pads at the same time. I used Savage caliper paint which is available in the UK as an alternative to G2 which can be sourced over the pond. Good luck.

HEY STOOK, I ORDERED THE STICKERS. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO GRIND? DID YOU REMOVE YOUR CALIPERS TO PAINT? DID YOU NOTICE A DIFFERENCE WITH THE SS BRAKE LINES? ONE MORE QUESTION... DO YOU HAVE TO CHANGE FITTINGS WHEN INSTALLING NEW BRAKE LINES, OR DO THEY JUST SCREW UP TO THE STOCK LINES? SORRY ABOUT THE RAPID FIRE Qs... OKAY, THAT'S IT....

I ground out the casting marks for a smooth finish. It's not 100% necessary but it does improve the finish substantially IMO. The brake lines will only really make a difference under heavy braking and will help with feel/modulation. It's not something that will have an immediate impact and make a profound difference, at least not in my case. However, since I changed the pads at the same time and was breaking them in, the 'feel' was lacking anyway. The lines are very good quality and will not perish so I would recommend them. I am yet to install my Cusco brake master cylinder brace because the wrong one was initially sent, however, this should compound the effects of the SS brake lines. As for retaining the stock mountings and fittings for the lines, I bought a set of Goodridge brake lines which are direct replacements. I would, however, guess that compatibility depends somewhat on which kit you choose.
