19" Rims

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know if 19" HP Racing Design Rims will fit directly onto my 2001 Honda S2000 .. Without doing any modifications to the wheels or the camber?

Thanks

Trust Me!

Go with a 17 inch rim and forget the "BLING" factor with a 19 inch. Pay close attention to the offset because if you are not as close as possible to stock offset, you will be buying new hubs and/or wheel bearings way to soon. VERY EXPEN$IVE! 18's will rub under load and 19's will rub worse and turn your "S" into one squirrelly handling little monster. Think about it again and good luck!

I want my "S" to have massive rims, but still have great handling! What else do you suggest? What about 19" Rims with great offset so that the wheels are cambered all the way in ..

19's will fit, it just depends on the offset.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

i have a 2002 s2k and i was wondering if a 19x8.5 rim with Yokohama Parada Spec-2 265/30ZR19 all the way around would rub in the front?

Stop the hate!!
lol
I have piaa 19" super rozza rims with (235/35/19 tires) my car is lowered and It still dosent rub even when I hit speed bumps... so if its done right they will work.
BTW I'm selling them,$1,600. They normally cost $2,400 new.
Or I will trade strait across for a set of piaa super rozza 18" rims

Hey "BUDDY" 19's will fit fine, you just need a high offset and your good.. Ive seen 19's on an s2k dropped with a 275/35r19 so TRUST ME it can fit, onece again, you need a high offset a very high offste

Talking

Thats fine "Buddy" ... there is no "hate" here, have the higher offset and stress the bearings and hubs. Ask Vinny We both have the OZ Superleggeras with an aggressive offset he has 18's and I 17's and at some point your bearings and hubs will begin to "sing" to you as they slowly shred themselves into nice little metallic particles. Can you hear them saying "get out your wallet .... spend some money" Higher offset = $ & poorer handeling...Its just a matter of time.

Yo! Guyz!
I see alodda mention'a "offset", "high offset" n' "very high offset".
When you're talkin' 'bout somethin' that could both hit your pile'a hard-earned to the tune'uv'a couple'a grand in rims plus hamstring the ability of yer Stewie to perform, you can't deal in vagueries. Wha'cha need'izz hard numbers.
The front stock offset is +55 n' the rears r' +65. (N' you don't know me from beans, go lookitt up!)
But if I wuz thinkin' wheels I'd go to the chart that lists what width rims can work with what offset. Black-n'-white. Yes-n'-no.
Hard parts need hard numbers.
Be well,
Java

yea buddy i fully agree with java i was plannin on puttin 19's on my s but after some hardcore research i realized u first lose performance and handeling then u lose bearings idk if this part is true or not but i also heard mention about wanting to buy bigger rotors and better brakes to be able to stop the bigger rims like i said idk if its true but it makes alot of sense the way it was explained to me im by no means a motor head thats part of the reason i joined here for help and guidance through suggestions of others mishaps and fortunes so i dont make the same mistakes another may have but thats just my 2p's

All that is being said is to consider ALL the variables when you change your wheels. Java & Devilsniper are right.

1. Stay as close as possible to factory offset.

2. Take into account possible adjustments to ride height, alignment camber, toe, caster and how that affects tire or component wear I.E. bearings bushings etc.

3. Will you need diff. spacers?

4. Do you care if you wear out tires faster if you gain handling? (UK specs are said to wear the inside a bit faster but grip is better and "turn in" more precise on AP1's)

5. Is handling important to you?

6."Pumpkin" is spelled like this OK Cupcake?
