17X 8 in the front 17x9.5 in the rear on a 2001
hat tires will be proper fit no stretching or bulging of the tire

Did Tirerack say those widths would fit ok? Ask them about which tires to use.

BTW, the stock rims on the newer cars are 7x17 front and 8.5x17 rear.
