Broken studs/Danger
I have a 2003 and have had two experiences with my front left wheel studs breaking while turning to the right. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

First I have heard of it. It sounds to me like you are using too much torque. Honda recommends 80 ft. lbs. per wheel stud.

The local Honda dealer repaired the first broken studs about a year ago. Prior to that I used a "certified" installer for some tires I bought over the internet. For the first instance, I assumed the "certified" installer had over torqued the nuts but now that it happened again, I'm a little concerned. I sure dont want to lose a wheel at high speed (or low for that matter) Anyway, thanks for the response.
