Want new wheels

Looking for some help,
I'm thinking about getting some new rims.
I once saw some wire wheels on a Stewie and really liked the look.
Anyone know who might make them? I have been searching places like tire rack etc. and so far no luck
I want something with not so much bling and am too old for the boy racer look

Cheers

The new s2000 wheels are nice ...not as flash, but more sporty.
The only thing is that all new wheels try to improve the cars appearance in their own way., black 5 spoke will look real good with silver edge, then you wil be gauranteed to be the hottest Daddy on the block.

Good luck

Borrani'z r' the only wires I know of Zach. I'd be surprised if they make 'em for Stewie, but if they do, real wires're a major pain in the keister. 'Definitely not somethin' I'd recommend.
They go against all that is less maintenance/more play.

DZ - I absolutely love the look of real wire wheels and I think they would look great on an 'S'. But like JJ said they require mucho maintenance time so be prepared. I had them 40 years ago on an MGB but never cared much about maintaining them. I've got them now on one of my bikes and they are a genuine pain in the ass to clean and wax (and that's only 2!!!). But they are definitely cool.

I have Kahn RSV 18'' wheels on my AP1. I like them as they look more classy than some of the others I've seen on the S. Like you I don't want the boy racer look. I know they are not wire wheels but thought I'd give ya my two cents!!

Also think the Kahn RS-X are beautiful but not sure if they'd fit the S2k

Hey All,
Thanks for all the input, it seems like wire wheels are a no go, point well taken more time cleaning than driving - not what I got the car for.
So now it's back to square one, looking to get somthing lightweight, chrome finish.. any thoughts again???

DZ - That might be a problem. Jeeps go in the woods.............where the bears are. Things might get ugly.

Con - I'm keeping that daisy wheel in my collection. I'm sure the need will arise.

As frustratin' as it gets when ya see jus' how liddle'z available for Stewie (in the correct offset) don't le'cherself get led astray Zach.
There'z an amazin' number'a folks out there that have snappy lookin' rims on their rides, but r' willin' to have to slow to a crawl if the road gets a little uneven.
'Don't know 'bout road conditions in the GWN, but here in Joisey, smooth blacktop turn'z to Sears Best, Heavy-Duty ka-ka in a heartbeat.
N' when you know that uneven roadway'z gonna impact ungoodly on your ride, when that rough chunk'a road shows up ahead of you, you know that your gut balls-up in preparation for the pain. If it hurts our ride, it hurts us (N' yes, Brett. That goes for Maverickz too.).
We need +55 up front n' +65 in'a back. Don't let some smooth-talkin' flim-flam man over-ride whut you know you need.

I had these on until I dropped it an inch. Had to go back to stock because they scrubbed.
Hated to do that.

quiet a big fan of the gunmetal 5 n 6 spokes myself. Pretty much anything Rays for that matter gets my approval, but those wheels look nice bg you should try and find a way to get em back on.

I talked to the front end man about running neg camber but he said I would get excessive tire wear. Also, if that cured the problem, the issue would come up again after the springs seated and the car went even lower.
My mistake was having 255 rears and 225 fronts along with the Eibachs.

Oh well, I enjoyed it while it lasted.
