New S2000 Owner tire question

I just bought a 2000 s2k that currently has 225/35/19 in front and 245/35/19 in the rear. The rears need to be changed asap. the owner told me that 255/35/19s will fit and reccommened nitto invo tires. Just wanted to see what people think about this set up and possibly tire reccomendations. the s2k is turbo but will be a daily driver also so i dont want to burn thou tires. once the front wear i was planing on puttin 235/35/19 on them. Any info/opinions would be appreciated.

All I know for sure is that 19" wheels are huge.

Big, over the yearz I've put a whole lodda oversized rimz'n hoopz on a whole lodda different vehiclez. 'Too much new stuff goin' on in the world'a tires lately to stay on top of it as easily'z was done back when the 60 seriez was what was happenin'.
You may've read it in other threadz on the topic, but especially when it involves anything oversized, I'd run it by the guyz at the 'Rack (TireRack) to get their input.
Checkin' what rubber'z available for your specific rimz'n application with them is never a bad idea n' jus' 'cause you use their extensive experience n' testin' know-how don't necessarily mean you godda buy there.
But checkin' with'em could save you a whole lodda grief'n hard-earned, y'know?
Be well, n' like the ol' knight said . . . . .

19 is way too big for the S. 18 is pushing it already.

The proof'a the puddin'z the combination'a serious corner'n uneven pavement Big, but that'z where the folkz at the 'Rack save you from havin'ta buy'n try.
They already know what fitz'n whut don't.
'Really glad you're checkin' with'em.
You've chosen wisely.

I think you will be limited in tire selection by the wheel size. You may have to do your own research for that. Not many have gone to such large wheels. Or ask Tire Rack.
Ask what 17" tires work well and you will get much input..

Did you get the stock rimz when you bought the car? I can think'a no quicker, easier way'da ge'cha out'n enjoyin' yer new ride on hoopz'att measure up ta your requirementz.

The Tire Rack is online, not a physical store. tirerack.com If you call them, ask for Jim, he is the S2000 expert there.

I have 205 55/R16 in front and 225 50/R16 in back. All of them are in the flavor of Kuhmo Exsta ASX. Temp AA Trac A. Very happy with them. Ride very quiet and have nice road grip.

Just my .02

As a daily driver?? I would suggest downgrading to 17'snot because of looks or size concerns but because of costs of driving the S daily. I drive approximately 80 miles per day and at that rate I have to buy tires every 6 - 7 months (I do not spin tires out). 17's can be pricey but 19's way expensive every 6 months. Something to consider especially with everything increasing in price. Its a consensus accross the board that the S runs through rear tires like there's no tomorrow especially for those of us who use it daily.

I haven't seen an S with 19's on it do you have any pictures?

ya. well its a daily driver during the summer and when school starts back up i wont be driving it at much and i plan on storing it a few months during the winter. I just ordered 2 nitto invo for the rear, i got them for 194 each plus tax. i optd to get a mid price range tire. hopefully i can get atleast a 12 months outta the tire since i wont daily drive it all year. even when i do daily drive i say i avg around 25 miles a day. I do have a few pictures but not real sure how to post pictures on here yet. can someone give me a quick how to post pics?
