On my 07 I had the tire pressures down a bit for better cold road grip but the high speed handling was awfull. Got much better when I bumped it up recently. Still there is some bump steer.

I think there is something wrong with your car. Mine handled like it was on rails to about 130. It almost felt like it handled better at high speed then at highway speed. I took it to 157 and it felt very very very stable but I wasnt going to push my luck and turn the wheel. 99.5% of body kits are not going to make it more stable they will just create more drag and impress the fast and the furious kids.

WOW, 157mph! Supercharged? What's your quarter mile time?

Wind tunnel tests show that most cars reduce drag and improve stability by lowering the nose and removing the side mirrors.

Yea I just felt like the front end was lifting off the gound.I didn't want to become airborne,LOL.It may have been the road I was kinda close to a concrete road barier. That may have caused some wind patterns,I'll try it out some other time late at night and in a different lane.I did change the front sway bay with a neuspeed 30mm,but left the rear one stock.Things that make you go HUMMMMMMM!

I heard the CR wing or a tuned wing really help the car feel like its planted at high speeds. It puts like 100 lbs of downforce on the rear of the car.

If it truely works... then its not rice.

I was thinkin' that an aftermarket front bumper can do down force at those speeds.A&J Racing has some cool stuff as far as racing apps. Any ones Input!

Chaz, I've had mine up to 142 on the freeway and 135 on a desert road on uneven pavement. It made my palms sweaty but never did I feel lift. Maybe your tire pressures were too high and the car was wandering.

Then again maybe the lift was coming from your skirt...lol

The corvette tops out @ 199mph. Do people remove the governer cut-off or it doesn't have one?

As discussed in previous posts, in Joisey the governor'z usually removed when he startz ta smellin' a li'l funny.
After that went public, I'd venture ta say that he wuz prolly cut-off too.
'Mus be somethin' in the local water though, 'cause the NY ex-governor n' more recently, some politico from SI also bought the farm with their political careerz. Although, their particular "tastes" were more'uv'a mainstream flavor.

I heard that Jersey's govenor had an aftermarket front lip that provided him with alot more downforce, under a particular set of circumstances.

Unfamiliar with the actual circumstances involved, but I think it'z safe'ta say that some "downforce" wuz involved.
In some'a these situations it actually leadz to body-alterin', which mus' be one hell'uv'a surprise fer some poor brossard ('Town in Canadia) down'a road, eh?

I'm surprised nobody mentioned ALIGNMENT to this guy!! That'll be the #1 best thing to help with high speed stability with OEM parts.

I have only gotten up to 122 but man I go over 100 so frequently since I bought this car. In my less than flattering vehicles (Prelude SI, Mitsubishi Eclipse) I rarely went over 100mph. I LOVE IT!!

AND Dammit DJJ if you don't get that dang bug off your avatar... everytime I see it I think a nat is crawling on my computer screen. Just a second ago I stuck my finger on the screen trying to kill it. LOL!
