Wheel Creeking???

I got my alignment done about 3 days ago and just today seems im getting an odd creeking noise when i turn to the left, Its only when i am basically stopped i am assuming from the resistance, It dosent happen throughout a turn just a section of turning the wheel, If you get what im saying basically say the wheel is straight and i start turning to the left the noise soon starts then stops as i continue to turn the wheel.... Now this didnt happen right after my alignment but few days it may have nothing to do with it... Any ideas???

In my opinion, it sounds like your CV boot may be leaking oil causing friction in the CV joint/assembly. How many miles on your car?

There are several places that may be binding. Possibly the rack and pinion has a bad spot.

Maybe check the simple stuff first. Tighten your lugnuts and USE A TORQUEWRENCH (very important with alloy wheels). 80 ft/lb is the spec.

Send a message via AIM to suzukablueap2
does it creak if the car is motionless but you turn the wheel to the left?

Maybe inspect your ball joints.

something loose.
get under the car & tighten everything you can find
related to the body, suspension, steering.
you'll find it.
