Looking for rims

I have been looking for rims since i got my car, but i have never found any that not only look good but are light weight. unfortunetly everytime i do find a rim they are like 3000 for just the rims. i was wondering if any one here has any idea of rims that look good and weigh as much, or less than factory ap2 wheels... Please

"Look good" is very subjective. Tirerack has some Koseis(sp) for around $800 that are lighter than stock.

tirerack has OZ ultraleggara's for like 2 grand for the whole deal, 18's that is. the 17's are obviously cheaper! i've been looking too and that seems to be what I'm gonna go for. HRE wheels are a bit much at 6000+ lol

I have been looking as well. Currently running the stock AP1 16's. I am not too crazy about most of aftermarket rims I have seen, tho less weight is always good. I am also changing because some claim the lower profile tires can lessen the snap oversteer.

I was thinking going to 17's, instead of 18's. Mostly because I thought I'd read here about rubbing issues and because I thought the 18's might make the ride more harsh than I would like. I put lower profile rims on a Lotus a few years and rattled tooth fillings loose ever after.

I was thinking I could find a set of AP2 OEM 17's, which aesthetically are as nice as any, IMO. But would 18's effect the snap oversteer enough to warrant the rougher ride? Is the rubbing common with 18's? Seems that might be more related to tire width than rim height.

Enkeis are known for being lighter I was in the same boat, I liked the volks but wasnt paying 700 per rim. I got my enkeis for 1600 with tires. Try this site they got some good info on wheel specs www.wheeldatabase.com
