Interest in a sub-frame connector?

Earlier this year, my car was unable to take the UK alignment specs. My mechanic took the car and found out that my subframes were drasticly shifted, making the specs completely out of whack.

After relaxing and resetting them they way they should be and a fresh wheel alignment, I was 2 seconds faster on the next track day.

In June, I ordered a Cusco subframe connector ($340) to keep this from happening again. I was told it would be 6 weeks before receiving it. Four months later, I still don't have it.

One of my business clients is a machine and fab guy, so I asked him if he could make one for me. Turns out, he just made one for himself and installed it on his '73 Camaro. So, we went to the metal shop and I bought the steel tubing for him to make one for me. My question to the community: Depending on the performance I see from it, how many people on this forum would be interested in paying about $300 for a sub-frame connector if he began to manufacture them?

Stiffens up the suspension by tying it all together.

Steel. Chromoly was brought up and I forget the reason he said steel would be better. If you wanted a chromoly bar, he would make it.
